So good to hear from you! I did have a great Thanksgiving. I went to visit my daughter in El Paso. We played tourist in Cloudcroft, New Mexico today. It was so Beautiful! We went from 60 degrees in El Paso to 32 degrees and snow in Cloudcroft at the top of a mountain. The scenery is gorgeous. (Remember I live just outside Memphis, TN.)

It sounds like you really enjoyed your visit with the family, also!

Yes, I've read parts of his books (skipping around). What a crazy, fun, wild life he's lead. I'm very relieved to hear that he is doing well.

Yes, I saw the cancellation post in time... My flight is leaving *this* morning at 10:00. I really am so disappointed; I haven't been this excited about ANYTHING in years. Of course, the adult in me knows that this couldn't be helped and I hope he gets well soon. And - maybe there will be a concert closer to my part of the country in the very near future. I'm looking for the silver lining right now.

Yes, I am so ready! It's ONLY 5 days away now. I am beyond excited. Just this morning, I was reading over my reservations (flight, hotel, car) to make sure everything was in order. The National Weather Service says Detroit wil be cold Friday night with a chance of snow but there will be a Hot Show in Andiamo to keep us all warm! Ha!
