Want to meet Eric before the show this Sat, 4/28? Here's your chance! It will take place right before the show at WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, OK. Here are the rules:

1. Go to www.ericburdon.com.
2. Sign up for an account.
3. Go to the "Tours" tab and click on tonight's event page: Eric Burdon & The Animals at WinStar World Casino.
4. Click RSVP to say that you'll be attending this show.

Linda, my date to the Animals concert, "disappeared" along with Connie, my friend's date. After the concert, we tracked them down to the Adolphus Hotel. We made it to the top floor suite where I was told that Linda was in Eric's bedroom! I met Eric when they came out about 30 min. later. At first, I was pissed-off, but they said they had just "talked" -(Ha Ha). Same story for Connie, who was with Chas, the bass player. Someone gave us a beer, and we sat around for about another hour before we took the girls home. We were just 16 years old! So. 46 years later, me and my wife are going to meet Eric before the show at the Winstar Casino in Oklahoma. I'll let you all know if she goes missing ... Ha HA HA!!!

Comment by Ted Dodson on April 26, 2012 at 2:14pm: I met Eric in Dallas in 1967 when my girlfriend ended up in his bedroom after the concert. Somehow, I didn't mind - HA HA!! It would be great to meet him again and see if he remebers this!!
