Dear All,
As Eric would like to be more involved with his fans on the website, we have created a great way to get to know each other.
If you are interested in taking part of a fan base interview with Eric, you can submit your questions right here.
Eric will then answer some of your questions via video cam and it will be posted on the website.
Keep in mind, the more interesting the question the more likely Eric will answer it.
Please submit your questions by 11:59 PM PST, April 26th 2010.
We are excited to see what you all come up with.

All the best
Marianna

diddo, i get a bit tired of hearing how sexy he is, we all know the legend stuff. But really what is it like coming from a town in England, transplanting yourself all over the world, being well known, surviving the 60's, 70's and the tedious 80's and 90's, and still tours!? What do you say to yourself to keep it all fresh and exciting. I think because of this website I feel there is an evolution from performer to purpose. (or maybe it is me who is thinking that performers need a purpose to be .....) I just watch a movie with a great line "with music we know that we are more than human".

Great initiative - finally this page is coming to life! Great that us fans are able to ask questions, because I'm pretty tired of hearing Eric answer the same questions in every interview that he makes (What about House of the Rising Sun? How did you get to know Jimi?, etc...). Poor Eric, I can't imagine how tired he must be of answering them too. I always find the parts of intervews that are about current projects, thoughts about the World and everything in it the most interesting, because it seems like Eric does his fair share of thinking...I'd love to sit down somewhere with a bottle of wine and my greatest childhood hero, maybe a guitar, and just talk thru the night about Life itself and play some music....

There's so much I want to ask, so I don't know where to start...
But how about the Survivor album... Where does the song Tomb of the Unknown Singer come from?
Also, will you ever consider doing the song Robert Johnson again, either on record or live? It suits you perfectly!
Further, how about your current works? It's been several years since the last record - is there anything coming up, either books, movies, concert DVD's, etc.? You haven't retired just yet (please no!)?

Looking very much forward to the answers, regardless of my questions being answered or not.

Martin.

i live in a small town where Lou Graham of Foreigner lives, and we see him all the time, shopping, going to car shows etc. There are people who recognize him, but for the most part are very polite and considerate of his privacy. Do you have the luxury of "freedom to live the day to day life" when not performing? What is the nicest thing a fan has done for you, and how about the worst thing? just wondering! ( haha, I teach middle school art, so I guess I love to know stuff about "celebrities"!

I want to know two things (at this moment):
1. What is his favorite song he has recorded/sings? (His own music)
2. What is his favorite song outside his own recordings? (Others music)

ERIK, you have he sexiest voice of all time. I don't think any one can sing a song as sexie as you. My question is are you disapoointed that you never made in the big screen. I read somewhere that you wanted to get in the movies. I think your very talented person. Thank you for music don't every stop singing. See you in santa cruz.

Hi my soul brother,
As a painter some times does the same scene, changing tint, angle or atmosphere, you sang "Paint in black" in different ways.
Can we expect a new version pretty soon ? Bluesy.
In my opinion, each time you made a new version, this song was a milestone in your career.
Personnaly, may I hope to see you soon in France ?

I am that girl from the 60's who went NUT for you..great songs, great personality, relevant..and really dangerous(!) Gotta Get Out... Misunderstood....House...Its My Life....San Francisco Nights....Spill The Wine....But I honestly didn't follow your career after the 1970's cause I grew up! But when I listen to ALL the songs on DVDs, It all comes rushing back...like it was just a day ago. This website really caught me up on your amazing career (thanks) Question: Are you still looking for the next great BIG song that will say whatever you haven't said before?, What one thing would you like to sayin that song? and do fans ever write songs for you to consider for a performance?

I have a question regarding the song Dragon Lady, is my favorite song. Whether at the time when the song there occurred a woman?which the song got it's name? And what does meen, quotes '' I got a golden triangle and it's tattooed,
Tattooed, tattooed to my arm''
Is it maybe has a different meaning?

And another question is why the album is called Mirage, which literally means?

And another little matter of interest whether this is true I dug at the back things and I found this in the newspapers, quotes:''1974 - Eric Burdon of The Animals names his newborn daughter "Mirage" (because he was stoned through the entire pregnancy)''. Then, during a rare moment of sobriety, changes it to "Alex". so I am interested because I read all your books and of course The Last Poet where you wrote that you are at that time was with his wife? ?

Sincerely Mr.Burdon M.J.

Hola!! . Eric, I had been always very interested in your psychedelic era, in San Francisco, and about the LSD experience, I had done too quite some times, and I have to say is definetely a mind opener, just like you said in an interview a quite ago "like a can opener ,opened your skull , took your brain out, and filled it with information and then put it back at your head"... I feel the exact same way....

So! I would like to know the MOST bizarre experience you had while on LDS???? (a good one, not a badtrip)

I so hope you read this, I saw you in Miami in September 2009, at the Rally, I was lucky to take a picture with you, (wich I have in my fridge, and I admire it every day) jajaja!!!! ,,,, 'thanks so much to Marianna to make that happen to me!!! .. will always be gratefull for it to both of you. Hearing my name by your voice was the greatest gift.... oh!! and kissing your cheek .. jijiji!!!!! : )

You will always have a fan in Puerto Rico.. who loves your music, your words, your voice, just you!!!!!! .....
