So here's my question. Most of us have followed Eric Burdon through various lineups of The Animals and various genres of music (e.g., pop, blues, psychedelia, soul, etc.). Some of us might prefer the earlier period when Eric was recording classic tunes like House of the Rising Sun. Others might like his psychedelic period typified by albums like Every One of Us and Love Is. Still others may be fans of Eric's work with War. If you really wanted to introduce someone who was not at all familiar… Continue

Thank you to all of my friends in the Northeast, especially those of you who have come out to support me. I had a great time at BB King's New York last night. It was a great crowd. Tonight we're up in Rhode Island at the Nickerbocker in Westerly and tomorrow we'll finish up in Phoenixville, PA. On November 7th, we'll be a little closer to home in Palm Desert,… Continue

Great Eric concert at B.B. King's - NYC

Last night's Eric Burdon concert at B.B. King's club in NYC really rocked! Eric started out the evening with a superb version of "When I Was Young" followed up with guitarist Billy Watt's fuzz-tone guitar driving "Don't Bring Me Down." Eric and the guys seemed incredibly energized and were obviously enjoying themselves. "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" had the energized fans singing along with Eric and the band. In a nod to Eric's psychedelic period (Eric had some funny remarks about meeting… Continue

Great, great great!

Also attended the Lincoln City show, thanks much for a wonderful time. Love the new song. Wish I had known about the Navarro gig, would have gladly driven the extra bit since I had already driven 400 miles. Why was it not posted prior?
Eric is so fit, trim and animated. He must have worked his butt off (literally) in Europe. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Ridgefield, CT 10/23/10

I need the help of someone in the Torrington area. I had a friend who was going to drive, but she decided I had to rent a wheelchair van. Financially out of the question, when I could slideboard into the front seat of her car -- I do also have a husband who helps. All I can think is that she didn't want to go -- it now comes to light that she has a baby shower to go to that day. Handicapped vans, even used, are for the rich. I'm just a used librarian -- far from being rich enough to buy even…
