Hello to all,
Some of You might have noticed that I am less posting for some time. The reason is that I do have got some health problems - it might be serious or not, I don't know yet. Next week I'll know a bit more about it , they"ll make a check-up at the hospital - also if I'll have to pass under the "butcher's"knife or not.
But whatsoever: I am happy to have had the opportunity to see Eric live before this thing. Also, I hope Marianna is o.k. - how can people be that stupid... as…

I attended last night's show in Lancaster, Pa. First, Badfinger opened and they were wonderful. I never was a big fan of them, but I was impressed at their performance. Eric and his band came on at about 8:30 and rocked the house. They were great. My wife is not a big music person, but she gave Eric and the band, what I think is the best compliment. According to the Annapolis police blotter link on the main page, Marianna was hit by a pickup truck in the parking lot after the show on Thursday night. No word on her condition but I'm hoping there were no serious injuries. Seems like a couple of idiots were upset after attempting to get Eric to give an autograph. Click on the link on the main page for more details.

Around 9:55 p.m. after Burdon and the group had finished their show at the West Street venue, a pickup truck twice struck the group's manager, Marianna Proestou, as she attempted to get Burdon in a van to go to their hotel.
She told police the two…

Whenever the announcement goes out that Eric and company will be appearing at some concert venue on this side of the states, there is a great deal of anticipation. And that's because as all of us know by now, a musical event with Eric Burdon and the Animals is something very special. Last night at the Rams Head Tavern was no exception. Located in Annapolis, Maryland, the Rams Head Tavern is an intimate setting with a smallish stage. My wife and I were fortunate to get a table right in front of…
