Hey Eric
I've just finished reading " Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood ". Amazing story, man. I teach History at High School and was fascinated by your tales of Baader Meinhof and travels in Israel. Your journey is an inspiration.
It is true that Australia is searching for its identity. Losing the Ashes doesn't help the way we perceive ourselves ! Any chance you are coming Down Under to fill the air ?
Thank mate. You're a legend.

He gave us multitrack recording. His actual DNA runs through every piece of music recorded today. We are all beholden to his innovations.
Besides, 'The Other Woman', my '57 Les Paul Custom gold top rides my shoulder like a Harley Davidson on a long country road. He created the perfect guitar for me.
He accomplished so much, his legacy will endure.

Goodbye Mister Les Paul.
Thanks for opening our collective ears and minds.
Now you are a star in the cosmos. A signal from space.
You will always be with us.

Hello to all around here at Eric's place,
I know, I've been quite lazy concerning postings for two weeks now, but I've been working hard on other stuff.
I'm reading Your postings with great pleasure, although. I made a lucky choice going to Dortmund, I had planned the Amsterdam concert, but it was just impossible. Yet, I have the two concerts I've been to in good memory: great, fantastic !!!
I'm really grateful for these memories, and I thank Eric and his band for this…

Pfullendorf was one of the last venues of the European tour in 2009. And I did take the chance to see my favourite band one more time – who knows, when I will have a chance to see them again…?
Pfullendorf is a nice little town close to the Lake Constance in the South of Germany. And the Seepark festival is a festival for families with all sorts of concerts – even traditional ‘Volksmusik’ - and parties with DJs, as well as programs for children, ‘adventure golfing’, waterskiing, and,…

I'm glad to be able to report that Eric Burdon and the Animals are scheduled to play at the Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis, Maryland on September 9th and 10th at 8 PM both nights. The last time Eric was at the Rams Head, Hilton Valentine was with him. It was really mind blowing to see Hilton and Eric holding forth on such tunes as Don't Bring Me Down, See See Rider, and Boom Boom.

Eric,
Really loved the show. What a bummer. 1 fire alarm is bad luck,2 is shocking. Please come back and finish the show. Don`t care how long it takes.
Regards
another Eric

I waited 40 years to finally see Eric live with the Animals but this was a disaster While Eric and the band were everything I hoped they would be, after the first few numbers the alarms go off and its lights up we gotta get out of this place (seems they had a problem in the roof causing the fire alarm to go off) 1/2 Hour later all back in,another few numbers and they go off again ,we are then told its cancelled, called to see about refund this morning(pigs just might fly)and they will be in…
