Hello to everyone,
We're back. Tired but happy - I just posted two photographs, one at the "Timmelsjoch", the border between Austria and Italy where we went through "hell" just after I took the photograph - the fog became so dense that I just didn't see where I was driving through anymore. We had some good days in Italy, but there was a lot of rain and cold aswell, - especially on our road back.
At exactly 7 o'clock pm we arrived to Saarbrucken, yesterday - after a "marathon"…

I don't do "Internet Stuff" very often---just ain't my bag. I'm here (my wife's blog) to share a little adventure we recently experienced while on a Carribean cruise and at port in Ocho Rios--Jamacia. Eric's name was a small part of this whole deal, so it feels appropriate to share it here. We chose an on shore excursion, in Jamacia, known as "the Bob Marley" tour. My son and his wife had already signed on so I figured a leisurely trip through the Jamacian countryside would be more kick-back…

My Soulmate and I had the extreme priviledge of rocking with Eric and the boys last night at Thunder On The Lot. It was a windy night in Lancaster California, but it was Eric Burdon and the Animals that blew everyone away!!!

I too am going to be away for a while. I'm going to Jamaica to take a tour and learn a little bit more about the life and times of Bob Marley. I will take a few photos of his home to share with you all.
This little jingle keeps poppin in my head
"Get up, stand up'
Stand up for your rights
Get up, stand up
Don't give up the fight
don't give up the fight!
Yep, think I've heard that somewhere before.
Luv and huggs
Sherry

Hello everybody,
I'm preparing my motorcycle for a journey to Austria & Italy - we'll leave on Friday.
On our way back, we shall make it to the "Garage" in Saarbrücken / Germany to see Eric in concert.
Love,
Jean-Marie

On another day, I wrote that my son listens a lot to Eric Burdon since I made him listen to his new albums.
Yesterday, I had a young professionnal musician (34 years) from Berlin in my car. I put on "Eric declares War" - and the young man after a while asked: " What the hell is this???".
- Do You like it?
- If I like it?? It's fantastic !!! Who's that singer, that band? The guy on the sax ? This recording is just so well done, so subtility in it...
- Eric Burdon. Almost 40…
