San Fransisco Nights In Pittsburgh

July 24th Hartwood Acres, Pittsburgh Blues Fest (actually Allison Park, Pa. Hampton Twp.) Imagine August 1971, I was 17, Long hair, Marine field jacket, I walked down Middle Road right infront of the now festival grounds ( was just a big field then ) I was just starting out hitch hiking to Key West, Florida. Eric Burdon has been a huge part of my musical experience since the release of the House Of The Rising Sun in 1964, and I unexpectedly had the experience of his aquaintance briefly in 1966 , and what a great person he was as he treated me with great respect as he dubbed me with the name "Chief , due to my Native American (Navajo) heritage.
