I wanted to let you know of a copyright infrigement of a song you wrote on the Twain Shall Meet Album that was committed by Stevie Wonder. Listen to the song "Visions" on his 1973 Innervisions album and then listen to your album The Twain Shall Meet, i think the song is "We Love You Lil" or "Orange and Red Beams" my brother has my ipod with it on it. The guitar riff is totally a rip off of your song.

Hello to Everyone around here,
I just thought it would be nice to know a little bit about the people who visit tis wonderfull site - everybody that comes along here loves or at least is interested in Eric's music, of course.
But wouldn't it be nice to tell - just a little bit - about You, the place that You live, Your job and hobbies, thoughts and passions? OK, we can use the chat, but it's sometimes difficult to talk to three or four people at the same time...
Maybe my idea is… Continue

On this Memorial day
Who will you recall?
I know I remember the beautiful young students,
the best years of their lives, interrupted by a monster known as the ‘NAM
Philosophers, poets, and academics — we turned into killers.
I recall those Spartans who had the courage to resist the monster ‘NAM — whose giant mouth in one way or another -- devoured the very best of our young men and women.
And for the few who are still running those bright horror movies that pollute… Continue

I'm just back from Luxembourg - City where the "My Secret Life" CD finally had arrived at the record shop. I listened to it all the way up north - fantastic.
Recently, I listened to my old vinyl " Talking Heads" records and found the way Eric sings this "Heaven" song simply amazing: he re-creates something ( that's pretty good in the original version, I think it was on the "fear of music " album ) entirely and transforms it from a somehow ironic post-modern pseudo-religious piece of music… Continue

I need to find a copy of Mr Burdon and Mr. Witherspoon. That was the shnizzle. Shed a whole new light on why I love the Blues. My dad, who by the way, listened to country music, told me once that if you listen close, I mean real close, no one can sing the blues like a white man. No disrespect ment. For my ear, he was right..

I guess the title says it all... Just wanted to say Happy Birthday to you! To quote your pal John Lennon; "let's hope it's a good one...". Perhaps we'll meet somewhere on the road this summer, I have fond memories of our last encounter at the Jazz Cafè a few years ago.
Still one of your biggest fans

Hey, I am not a completist, just a long time fan lost in Australia and I was curious about the recording (I had heard about ) of Eric with Paul Shaffer ( of David Letterman fame ). apparently EB did the song "Room with a view" on Pauls 'Coast to Coast' CD. I couldn't find out any details so when it became too much I got off Amazon.com anyway.I now know to be 20 years old, but I wa surprised that Eric two contributions are live tracks at a theatre in Chicago and wait for this ....the great Buddy… Continue
