The Animals
One of the greatest experiences ever, to meet Eric. Wish I could have had a discussion. Does anyone know the name of the guitar player? The guy was amazing.

Summer of 1966
It was July 17, 1966 in Dallas, Tx, when I last met Eric. Linda, my date to the Animals concert, "disappeared" along with Connie, my friend, (Parker Snead 's), date. After the concert, we tracked them down to the Adolphus Hotel. We made it to the top floor suite where I was told that Linda was in Eric's bedroom! I met Eric when they came out…

Hi Eric and Eric fans! I went to the concert at Northern Quest Casino and it was fabulous!! I loved the order and choice of songs, especially the medly when the drum solo turned in into "we've got to get out of this place"...Wish the crowd was a little bit more lively, though. I know I was up clapping and dancing! But Eric really has a great voice as always, and is very entertaining and funny at times!! Still playing that cow bell, LOVE IT!! I did get to meet the drummer in the casino…

Farewell to Levon Helm and Dick Clark
A farewell to Levon Helm, a Canadian, who saw more in music from south of the border than most people who live south of the border. A fantastic singer who played drums at the same time. To have that combination -- a singer drummer --was very rare in the world. Performing with The Band, he helped create the most authentic, modern day interpretation of American history, dating back to the 1860s. They had one of the most incredible historical songs that has been…

BRITISH INVASION RADIO THOUGHTS
I programmed my first top 40 radio station in 67,with racy edge soul music artists and syrupy white bread groups.. These groups…
