First let me tell you I am a huge Eric Burdon fan.  In 64 when the British invasion came is when I really started to enjoy music. The Animals back then were one of my top favorite groups.  They had a unique style and I loved the bass riffs.   Eric Burdon’s  performance of “paint it black”  at the Monterey Pop Festival was simply spectacular and showed a future glimpse of what he was capable of beyond the Animals.
