The Gods were against me but I made it to the Vancouver show last Friday. First, I found that my passport had expired so I trekked to the regional passport center for an 'emergency' one-day issue. It was interesting to convince them of my EB concert "emergency'. That done, a windstorm felled a branch onto my car windshield the day before so I had to rent a car with special insurance to cross the border. Vancouver is beautiful and the Canadians are very gracious folks.

Also attended the Lincoln City show, thanks much for a wonderful time. Love the new song. Wish I had known about the Navarro gig, would have gladly driven the extra bit since I had already driven 400 miles. Why was it not posted prior?
Eric is so fit, trim and animated. He must have worked his butt off (literally) in Europe. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

I watched the interview in Montreal where Eric says that he would like to do a tour with all new material but... I would be thrilled to attend (and am guessing throngs of us would). The "anthems" were great in the 60's and are great today but Mr. Burdon is a unique talent where he is more than capable of a diverse range of genres. As an avid concert goer, of course I've seen many performers who are shadows of their former greatness, not so with Eric---his voice and stage presence are better… Continue
