Just read that Eric cancelled his German-tour in summer because of health reasons and I really hope it isn't because of something serious as I am a little worried when I read all the articles about it and I really hope he recovers soon. Please let us know what happened. …See More

Sad news: paul alfred walsh (alfie) died

This afternoon I got the sad news from his family that our good old friend paul alfred walsh (some of you may know him as alfie from the old bulletin board) died today after suffering on long illness. My thoughts are with his family and friends for whom it will be a big loss to loose such a nice person. May he rest in peace now.

Saw Eric Burdon on Wednesday at the sold-out show in Aschaffenburg and the concert was really mindblowing! We enjoyed every second of it! Especially I loved the "new" song Nobody wants you (When you're down and out) and hope this song makes it to the next album! Can't wait for that one to be released! Hey hey, Guten Abend. Dienstags um 19.00 bis 22.00 Uhr sind immer zwei bekannte von mir, die im Radio Sthoerfunk moderieren. Da kommt gute Musik, alt und neu, auch Eric Burdon. Zuerst wird eine Stunde lang ein Thema vorgestellt, wie z.B. Steppenwolf, Strawbs oder Jeff Beck. Manchmal werden bestimmte Alben (die man gehört haben muss) vorgestellt oder eine Veranstaltung in der Nähe von Schwäbisch Hall. Die beiden haben auch schon Acts wie Ralph McTell, David Munyon oder Focus hergeholt. Kannst mal reinhören, viel aus der Richtung Rock, Progressive, Blues, Singer-Songwriter und auch experimentalistische Werke aus der ganzen Welt.
