What are you currently listening to?

At the moment I am listening to the album "Blue Again" from "The Mick Fleetwood Band". Got is as a Easter-present from a friend. Thank you again! It was a great surprise! The album is brilliant and features Rick Vito on guitar and vocals. It includes a live-cd and a bonus-cd with new recordings of songs like "Albatross" and "Supernatural".

Right now I am saddened by the departure of one of the great Chicago blues singers, Koko Taylor. I first saw her in the eighties and was absolutely blown away by her voice and presence on stage. I saw her recently after her band was in a bad auto accident (their tour van) and she was only a shadow of her former self. She even introduced the song she just sung as the next number (oops). She still could out sing many artists but she wasn't the same.

Picked up her latest "Old School" just a couple weeks ago after hearing her version of One Black Rat on the internet. A great product for an 80 year old. Goodbye Koko and thanks for the music and fond memories of the many shows of yours that I have attended since that first show in the mid-eighties.

Needless to say, I will be listening to more Koko over the next few days.
The Flatlanders, 'Hills and Valleys'. :)
Eric Burdon - Do You Feel (from 1982 film 'Comeback')

Right now I listen a lot to Duffy, a Swedish bluesman called Roffe Wikström and Deeper Blues.
(Got a "blues-period" right now as you maybe guess)
If you are in for blues I really recommend Deeper Blues (guess I don't need to mension Eric on this Forum, heh?)
Eric Burdon - I Am The Blu es (Germany, 1982)

IM AT WORK, LISTENING TO MY IPOD, THE SONG PLAYING RIGHT NOW IS "DONT LET ME MISUNDERSTOOD"!!!!! OF THE ANIMALS!!!!!!!!
I'm listening to the epic masterpieces: 'River of blood' & 'Driftin'/Geronimo's last stand' from the album 'Mirage' just released in the UK on Cherry Red records. Amazing vocals & ace guitar by snuffy Walden.
To Eric of course, but also to very strange things - like this for example:

( they remember me of Soft Machine, in some way.)
Or even much stranger stuff, like Magma for exemple:-)

( I saw them in 1973, amazing. They do their crazy stuff for 40 years now - no compromise. Yet not for everyone, neither.
