What are you currently listening to?

At the moment I am listening to the album "Blue Again" from "The Mick Fleetwood Band". Got is as a Easter-present from a friend. Thank you again! It was a great surprise! The album is brilliant and features Rick Vito on guitar and vocals. It includes a live-cd and a bonus-cd with new recordings of songs like "Albatross" and "Supernatural".

I'm currently listening a lot to Detroit Cobras - extremely "hot" band with a flair for uncovering lost music from the sixties, adding modern guitars and a great beat and on top of that the best female singer - Rachel Nagy! a good runner up to Eric and his music. Re Eric, i'm into inside looking out, animalization period right now. and some Rammstein - Sonne etc when my wife is not around! TQ!

Tom Waits, " Swordfishtrombones", from 1983. I do like it and I don't - a strange mix-up. I don't know if the man's honest or not.
Buena Vista Social Club. I love these people, fantastic musicians, all of them.
Bob Dylan - the albums since 1997 are just amazing - that guy re-invents himself since 1961, everybody knows that... I saw him several times. The best concert was here in Luxembourg, I think it was in 1994 or 1995 - a small audience, but he was preparing his "old man"comeback. What a concert. He played with his actual band for something like two and a half hour. Fantastic.
And Eric's "soul of a man", of course. I bought the record, listened to it - and still do - I just love it. Hey: that's the reason why I'm visiting this site, people !!!

Debbie Davies Live in 2005. Bought it at her show a couple weeks back. "Taking It all To Vegas" is so appropriate today - it is about her disgust with Wall Street and how she is univesting all her money and going to Vegas. LOL.

I am listening to "House of the rising sun" which is one of the best singles ever made. Eric is; and was; a great singer and I still remember all the records he made when I was young - way back in the sixties. They bring back memories of a happy time and will stay with me for as long as I live.
