In 2002 Soloman Burke rented my Hammond organ to use on his comeback album "Don't Give Up On Me". After that time I saw him once at a blues festival in Notodden, Norway which I played with Delbert McClinton (long time friend) and again last year in Croatia. That night I was able to see his whole show with the crown, the cape and all the rest. Band sounded great, he sounded great and it was easy to see why he was a legend. He told me to give his best to Eric and the band. He was not only a great entertainer, great voice and influence to many, but a good guy as well. Yes, he will be missed...
