Just saw the band at BB kings.I would  really like to buy some recordings  or dvd's of the current band as I thought they sounded fantastic the other night. All the band members  were tight as could be and the sound was great.Very impressed with Billy Wyatt's guitar playing  , fit perfect with Eric . Eric was just a class act from start to finish .A musical treasure. What a great way to see him in a small venue.I felt like he must have when he saw blues legends in small clubs in the early and mid 60's. Anyway , i really am looking for some recent shows  to listen to .....Also are there any collections that are  a must have for  an Eric Burdon fan ? I enjoy alternate versions or live versions of songs , that aren't just the same old ones that have played on the radio over and over .. Thanks Danny... Dkavan4710@aol.com

Definitely:
The Official Live Bootlegs 1, 2 & 2000
Live in Seattle 2002
Athens Traffic Live
but these are different bands with many hard rock & heavy metal sounds.
Great live albums...but the new band hasn't released one yet...
There's a DVD in production that was filmed earlier this year with the current band - not sure of a release date. Here's some info about the players:

Danny - was it the BB King's in New York City? I saw Eric there in about 2003. Hey Gyp was a standout. Went with a bunch of friends, was first Eric show for some, they bugged out wild. I also saw Eric twice at the 'Wetlands' in the 80's it's an even smaller venue than BB's - alot smaller. If Eric does the Wetlands again you gotta go, it's located in Manhattan, close to the Holland Tunnel, I hope it's still there.

Frankie 'B' - U.S.A.
