The line-up was the same than in Calw, but there was also a nice (greek?) woman that played on some songs. Maybe she played also in Calw, I don't know.
The playlist a little bit different but similar - no tobacco road:-(( but a lot of old songs:-)))
It was a nice concert, quite short in time but very dense. At some moments, I had my eyes filled with tears. The band played rough and straight-away, rock'n'roll at it's best, the musicians are superb, Eric seemed to enjoy the gig. I really prefer small places for concerts, and the Garage is a small place.
I would have loved to post a pic with Eric and us on it but at the end of the concert we had to drive back home and we really were tired of our quite rainy and cold journey to Italy so we immediately quit the garage.
Still, I found the time to give a little present for Eric to the woman that played in the band ( instead of a hug, Sherry:-). I hope he enjoys it a little bit - it's NOT about motorcycling but it has to do with the rest of my life during which I (always tried to) do what I wanted :-)
Love to all, thanks for the show, Eric & band.

Nice review and thank you for sharing this
Hello Animals,

It's nice to meet You back here. If You have the opportunity to see Eric in concert this summer, don't miss it. He and his band are awesome - they are really "professionnals" on one hand, but there's so much more - let me call it communication . Very rare nowadays. I was quite concentrated during the session and there were moments of fun, moments of doubt and moments of just beiing completely in the music. At least, that's how I felt it, it's the way I experienced the concert. At some moments, the band was that much into music that I just closed my eyes and danced like I used to thirty-five years ago.
There was a french band playing before Eric - nice people, but ... just nice people. A good way of mesure between " I'd like to " and " I really can" :-)))
Love, Jean-Marie

Was this one of those moments?

Hello Duke,

Definately it was... I think - "San Francisco Nights" ( that You also posted on You Tube ) and "I believe in my Soul" were the moment when the "magic" of the evening started to really happen. ( Eric had won the fight with his sunglasses by that time - things You don't wear can't bother you:-). " I believe..." was a very very dense moment at the beginning of the concert, then later there were parts in different songs that just blew my mind somewhere else. The middle part of Sky Pilot, just as an example. At one time, Brannen was somehow out of rythm - or just into a rythm of his own, who cares - but these moments were great.
I was there too, I will post the setlist later, also great YT videos.....my father was more in the background and made some very short clips, but the quality is terrible, you just hear noise....i will post it when I have time, but it's not good...

The concert was great and I'm happy that some clips were posted, also photos....
Hello Julian,
It seems there have been quite some people from this website in Saarbrücken:-)
Personnally, I did not make clips - for reasons I explained in another posting on this site. Also, fathers are mostly too old for handys, cameras and all this modern stuff. Without the help of my kids, I wouldn't post here. I always have an ax in reach when I start my computer: if he bugs me, I'll bug him back immediately !
