Eric Burdon headliner at Pyraser Classic Rock Night 2010-Cancelled!!!

Yipppeee! Wanted to see Wishbone Ash this Friday anyway and now I can save the money and see them together with Eric and Slade (I am also curious how they sound with MalMcNulty whom I liked with Sweet very much) in July! The festival is said to be in the green with the possibility for camping! Pyras is in the area of Nürnberg!
Sadly Eric cancelled the show due to health problems!
"Leider wird Eric Burdon auf der Pyraser Classic Rock Night nicht spielen. Herr Burdon ist aufgrund seiner gesundheitlichen Verfassung nicht in der Lage eine ausgedehntere Europatournee zu spielen und muss deswegen aus Vorsorgegründen auf mehrere Auftritte verzichten, darunter auch auf unseren Termin auf der Pyraser Classic Rock Night. Wir konnten aber für adäquaten Ersatz sorgen. Ab sofort bestätigt: Barclay James Harvest als Headliner - und als zusätzlichen Act konnten wir Roger Chapman verpflichten."

Your lucky Ingo, it looks like Eric is touring Europe a lot this year. A festival in Canada in between other dates including Poland in August. Pity he didn't make it to Oz this year. I am guessing you live near Nurmberg. Is EB doing anything with Carl Carlton this year?

Yes John! I live around 2 hours away from Nürnberg so it is not that near but it is good to reach by car! Sadly I have any new infos about Eric and Carl working together, but I really hope that they work together on Eric's new album and record the songs they wrote together last year! Carl's schedule should fit at least as his tour with Peter Maffay starts in November this year. Still hope to see him with Eric on stage sometime!
