Beware Of Strange Contacts From This Forum!

 About a week ago I posted a brief comment on this website. Yesterday, someone who claims to be a political refugee from Africa contacted me and said she got my personal e-mail from this Eric Burdon website. This person  pretends to be using this forum for normal reasons but then springs a surprise on you and starts asking for political and personal help, etc. So, beware of people contacting you and pretending to be someone or something they are not.

Hi, She also contacted me two days ago. I also noticed she has been talking to others on Eric's website. She said her name is Anne Desmond. Also calls herself Miss Anne Desmond. She is a scammer. My Uncle thinks it's a man using this website and using this young woman. She sent me some pictures. She wanted to know about me. Said she liked my profile. I did not share my info. I noticed she said the same to another person on Eric's website and contacted him yesterday with the same exact comment she gave me. Thanks for sharing this information. She (or he) is trying to get money, I'm sure. The picture next to her name is of yellow flowers. BEWARE!!

Let common sense prevail .. if you don't know the person, don't tell them anything you wouldn't shout out in a shopping mall. There are those with good and not so good motives in every corner of the planet, not just here.

A couple of times I have been contacted by someone alleging to want to meet me or send a picture or something else. To be honest I can't remember exactly what because when I get this sort of thing I just hit the delete button straight away and move on.
