I'm really looking forward to tonight's concert! I've been to 3 or 4 spectacular concerts of Eric Burdon & The New Animals in the 2000's, and saw him with Donovan at Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace in 1987. I met him at his booksigning of "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood." Eric is full of energy, and puts on a great show with that powerful, unique voice! I'll be the guy in the black "Eric Burdon & The New Animals World Tour 2000" T-shirt. I hope his new drummer is anywhere near as good as Bernie Pershey, who's drum solo during "Hey Gyp" was the best I've ever seen, and I've seen John Bonham, Keith Moon, Nick Mason, and a host of others! I would also love to see them do "Sky Pilot" with the "Star Spangled Banner" intro! It'll be great whatever they play though! Hope to see you there!
